Android Debug Bridge is how Tiber actually reaches a device. It needs to be installed and on your path.

Tiber runs on your development machine, not inside your phone. Releases below are pulled straight from GitHub.

Before you install
- ADB (Android Debug Bridge) → — part of the Android SDK Platform Tools. It needs to be on your PATH.
- Android Studio → — only if you're testing against an emulator. Set one up through the AVD Manager once installed.
- An emulator or a real device — with USB debugging turned on, or wireless ADB for a physical phone.
- Windows 10 or later. macOS and Linux packages aren't available yet.

Tiber only speaks to a device through ADB, so the installer above is one part of the setup, not all of it.
A device or AVD
A physical Android phone with USB debugging on, or a virtual device made with AVD Manager.
An emulator, sometimes
If you're not using a physical device, you'll run that AVD in an emulator before Tiber has anything to talk to.
